Gun's N' Roses in album delay shocker!!!! (again)

GNR's 3 big albums are loaded with shit, but all 3 also contain some songs that I'd say really are great. I'm mildly interested in this new album, but some song leaked a couple days ago (well, I first saw it posted on boards a couple days ago) that was pretty wtf - it was called "better" if anyone else has heard it. I actually quite liked it, but it really didn't sound remotely like GnR besides the main vocals. Lots of heavy processing and electronics, with only the chorus having a sort of "arena rock" flavor. The guitars were massively downtuned, and maybe even seven string, with really modern and overprocessed distortion. The guitar soloing was fairly amusing, anyone know if they used buckethead? Other than the godawful bridge it wasn't bad, just nothing I'd ever pay for.

i´m almost 100% sure, this album will turn out as utter crap. and i'm even more sure that i will not listen to a single second of it, because Axl Rose is the 2nd worst vocalist out there, just right after Dave Mustayne

Its not Guns and Roses, its just isnt. Guns and Roses was that band with long ago with Duff, Matt, Izzy, Slash and Axl. This band were talking about is Axl Roses solo project, Axl himself just needs to realise that!

Even though he did write a lot of the material for that band from the past called Guns and Roses, it just isnt the same without that whole band, all high on drugs and downing whisky while playing live to millions across the globe.

This much is true, but madness and genius are bedfellows. And some of his high-points (especially the ballads) are definitely genius.
