Guys I stayed home today and played Metroid Zero Mission.

Chromelife get Fire Emblem. Seriously the best strat RPG for GBA.. I think it's better than FFT:A.. maybe. But man, it's really awesome. Check some reviews or something.

Yeah I was thinking about gettin that one soon... its made by the same people as Advance Wars 2... which you should check out if you havent!

I need Metroid Zero Mission but I do not have a GBA and I do not plan on getting one, ever. I don't want to play handheld games, I want to play games on my TV. That said, I will most likely end up getting a GBA player for my Gamecube, and that's how I'll end up playing Metroid Zero Mission.

I'd rather have Metroid Prime 2 though... make it already Retro!

I played the first Advance Wars and thought it was coo. Fire Emblem has the same basic engine, but the coolest part is that if any one of your characters die.. they DIE. no revives, no nothing. They're gone forever. I think that's really neat because all of the characters are pretty unique and all have personalities. I got to the last level once without losing a single person. I'm proud of that!

This guy I know doesn't like the Metroid series at all. And he said Metroid Prime wasn't innovative at all.

"Oooh, spooky ambient music! Oooh! BIG BOSS BATTLES! It's all been done before."
I almost killed him.

Also he said of Super Metroid:

"Oooh! A room with a rock background! Oh, look! Now it's a room with a fiery background! That's not exploration."

He's played like 30 minutes of Super Metroid and like five minutes of Metroid Prime. Hate so much.

I thought FFT:A was pretty disappointing once I really started getting into the game... Not bad, but kinda boring. Although, it had a lot to live up to, as the 1st FFT is probably my favorite game.

Fire Emblem and AW2 both kick ass, though. Too bad I was using emulators on a slow computer and I can't afford to actually buy a GBA (which may change if I have money leftover from the insurance from my housefire), because I really want to get the Metroid games. Super Metroid is close to being one of my favorite games.

I'm replaying Super Metroid as we speak. I'm about to enter Maridia. Maridia practically gave me nightmares when I played the game in 1994. It scares the hell out of me.

Super Metroid has got to be one of the most atmospheric games I've ever played. No game that I can think of creates a better sense of being lost in a foreign place, and the music is perfect -- creepy, and often quite strange. Except for early Brinstar though, which is just really catchy.

I once made the Metroid title screen song on Mario Paint. I got it from a Nintendo Power magazine. It was awesome.

One day, I'm going to make a song that partly consists of music made with Mario Paint. It's been a dream of mine for years. Only problem is the lack of sharps and flats...
