I'm going to be leaving Los Angeles at 10:20 pm on the 31st and arrive in Australia on the morning of the 2nd of January (due to time zone changes)... So that kind of means I'll miss new years day.

I tried to watch it some days ago. I'm a big fan of horror/B movies ... but this one didn't even match any genre not that it should but I'm a VERY good audience (if i can say it that way) but I couldn't finish it. I've nothing against the girl, it's just the scenario.
On-Topic : my last two NYE I worked (last year i was in orlando, i worked 15 hours and i was totally sick, lots of fever and no voice, that was still an awesome night!). this year i've so much stuff to for my exams in a few days I can't even celebrate (which i don't care) so i left the bf with his specie.

i'm a major fan of horror b-movies, but the only good ones are from the 80's and 90's.... i don't remember any good ones from the 00's

The 80's, 90's are the high point of this vast genre imo too. sometimes i manage to download some pearls that are more fun to watch (because of all the clichés in the acting etc...). i like some asians movies because they bring a totally new atmosphere, a new esthetic. but now, there are too much money too much seriousness

Happy New Years guys! Unfortunately due to an extreme lack of planning I was stuck at home with the boyfriend having a PJ party (yes thats most definitely as dorky sounds). Twas fun though!
