... Well , he is not exactly "the Mozart of Greece", I used this expression just in order to get your attention. But he is definetely one of the best( probably the best ) composers of my country, Greece.

If you want, you can see one of his very good works, the "Gioconda Smile" played live at the URL's that I have listed below.

It doesn't matter. That was some quality music right there.

Since you liked it, I will present here some more songs of his.

Listened to the FIRST song only, and it doesn't sound like mozart at all. I'm NOT saying it's bad but its not anywhere like his rhondo, his requiem or ave verum corpus. This is entirely based on the first song btw.

Like I said, its NOT BAD, it's in fact good I think it just sounds too modern for me, mainly because of the guitars I think.

Nonetheless, I'd say every composer is a genious to some extent.

Pal, certainly it does not have any similarity with Mozart.

I just used the expression to get your attention. :)

alright I thought so :) I should have known better!

I haven't got enough time to listen through all the songs (i.e I cant be arsed :p) have this man composed any classic, classical music? I.e that resemblances 1700 and 1800 era of classical music

Basically I think that the music that is played at the videos of my first post has many elements taken from european classical music.

He has written some more music of this style, but I cannot find it on the youtube.

Anyway, this is one of my favourites of his. Listen to it, I think it is really moving.

And since you are interested in classical music, you should also see this at which he is conducting the Piano Concerto No.1 of Liszt with Gyorgy Sandor as soloist.
