Hello all. I came across this forum today as I was browsing, trying to find out more about Amon Amarth. I just discovered this band last night, and they have become one of my new favorites. Pure, crushing metal with an epic scope. I love it.

Some of the other bands I listen to are Immortal, Dimmu Borgir, Dragonforce, Rhapsody / Luca Turilli, Hammerfall and Iced Earth. Would anyone have any more recommendations?

Welcome to the board. Its hatd to say what band to go for in general but if you like AA you should check out Fredrick's other band Curruclum Mortis. Very good stuff. Other band I'd be into would be a wide varity from Borknagar to Ensiferum to many others.

There are more than likley samples there so they should help.
