I've just picked up Halford's Crucible cd. This is one hell of a good album. Back to some Priestesh style chunky riffs and some awesome drumming. I like the mix of tunes with Crucible, Sun, She and Hearts of Darkness showing his diverse syle.

Excellent album!!
I didn't like Resurrection very much but I think Crucible is a killer, is more Judas than Judas. There are a lot of variety, you will find faster songs like Betrayed in the vein of Judas Priest, songs more melodics as Trail of Tears (my favorite) and Golgotha, and songs in the vein of Fight too.
One of the best of the year so far.

Yeah, Halford shows that he is still the man in the studio. It's exiting to listen to a vocalist that brings in so much diversity in his vocal deliveries!
