HALFORD To Film Live DVD In Japan - Jan. 4, 2003
HALFORD will be filming a live DVD during their upcoming tour of Japan, Rob Halford's personal manager John Baxter has confirmed via the group's official web site.
"We will be filming the two Tokyo shows [on Feb. 11 and Feb. 15 at Shibuya Kokaido] and potentially Osaka [on Feb. 14 at Shibuya Kokaido] as well for a HALFORD DVD release," he wrote. "I'll provide more info on that in a few weeks."
In other news, HALFORD have announced an Anaheim, California date on Friday, Feb. 7 at the House Of Blues. The show is a re-booking of their planned Anaheim gig on Jan. 2, which was cancelled at the last minute after Halford was denied entry into the U.S. from London, England due to visa problems. "Unfortunately, we weren't able to conclude the rescheduling of the Las Vegas performance [originally set to take place Dec. 29] before close of business [Friday, Jan. 3], so I'll follow up with everyone next week," Baxter said.
HALFORD are tentatively scheduled to kick off The 2003 Metal Gods World Tour in the U.S. in late March. Exact venues and dates will be announced during the coming weeks.
