Yeah , I went there. Light in the loafers you say? Maybe. However they stand head and shoulders over many of their contemporaries. Impressive musicianship, incredible vocal harmonies and undeniable pop song writing gave them hit after hit through the late 70's and early to mid 80's. Unlike much of the pop of today they deserved their success. C'mon , songs like Rich Girl, I Can't Go For That, Sarah Smile and Say It Isn't So are kinda hard to beat. Some of their stuff was white boy soul at it's finest! Feel free to agree whole heartedly with me.
