Hall IR's of mine - Very nice!!!

Hey yall, over the weekend me and me mate recorded a small choir in a lovely sounding hall, so i just had to take some IRs of it. They sound amazing on drums, snares vox etc

I used 4 stereo pairs in different arrangements and at four distances 1m, 3m and 6m from source.

Rode NT1A - Coincident (XY)
MXL 990 - spaced pair
Behringer C2 - near coincident (facing the celing behind the choir and my fav IRs)
Samson C02 - just a random spread stereo group

I was using me mates setup for the obile tracking all into a MOTU 8 Pre

i think the IR's turned out really well and really capture the sound we got in the hall!!!

yeah its his rig we used, i brought down my rode to give us a pair of em, and we borrowed the MXLs from Andy at TCR

haha nope, man its piercing stuff, glad vikings dealing with it and i just engineered it for the most part!
