Halloween weekend shows

Anyone going to any shows this weekend? I'm actually planning on heading up to Milwaukee on friday to see King Diamond and Entombed at the Rave. Then saturday, our ex-bassist Mary will be in town performing with Penance at the Note (1565 N. Milwaukee Ave.) in Chicago, along with Dixie Witch, who are a killer live band. If anyone plans on going to these, I'll see ya there.

thats a link to vouchers fer the show.....2 drinks and a show fer like 15-18 bucks...and look fer me in my mortiis costume...cuz yeah...its halloween and i wanna be mortiis dammit....and i cant go to the show sat cuz RUNE is playin milwaukee 2 times....i dunno if i mentioned how much i love rune or how you all should too....but if i hadnt....

I was going to go down to Milwaukee to see Slayer tonite and stay there for KD tomorrow but that kind of fell apart (and I don't really have any vacation). But I'm possibly heading to Madison tomorrow to see Muzzy Luctin (local band) and that lead singer dude from Caroline's Spine's new project. But I'm still pissed I got to miss the shows in Milwaukee. Oh, well.

Yeah that was a frighteningly accurate Mortiis get-up. I don't know how the hell you managed to drink all night with that crazy fucking nose getting in the way lol

King Diamond and Entombed were both great. Entombed suffered a bit from a poor mix, but they had a great set list, including "Serpent Speech", "Stranger Aeons", "Wolverine Blues", "Left Hand Path", etc. I actually thought the King show was maybe the best I've seen him, at least in the past ten years. His voice didn't give out at all and they also played a great set, covering alot of the Abigal story especially. I'd definitely recommend going to see this tour if you've ever been interested in seeing King live.

And thanks for the Cranberry Juice, Jason. Tell Shan not to always be so damn quiet when I say hi to her!
