Woah... what a fucking great set from the HF boys...
My first visit to the Koko and a very cool venue indeed...
Strata failed to do much for me though

Well, I think that both co-headliners shone last night.

I was glad to hear lots of old songs from Stratovarius and only a couple from the new (awful) album. The audience was great.

God Sean remember that weirdo in the leather coat who came and talked to us during Strat? My bloody luck I end up next to him on the tube all the way home... and he bloody spat on my shoe. What a freak. I agree with you though - Hammerfall rocked. Highlight - leaping around to Hearts on Fire (I'd have been angry if they'd not played that!)

Nope, just a compact digital camera, small enough not to be confiscated by the security.

I'm saving up for a good professional camera now, and will try to get photo passes to some gigs. Trying to take good photos in a moshpit where you're pushed around is a tough job.

Never mind that cute singer, just look at that drum kit. There's even what appears to be a light on the front of it. In case they lose the drummer down the back? Think Neil needs to have a trip to the drum shop - his equipment is far too small.

Ha ha glad you said that.. Yep pretty monstrous but he had a few problems on the night... like problems staying in time... which may have been a problem with triggers .. not sure.. But a really poor drum solo... jeez it sucked...

Well, all those photos and only one of the drummer. And you can't even see him. Which is probably just as well as he could exit the venue quietly after his solo. I have more cymbals though. Ha. and yes, I'm clutching at straws. It's not the size of the equipment, as I keep telling the ladies, its what you do with it...
