Never heard of them. I really liked what you shared. Bought their new album for $5 in amazon. :)

Thanks!

They rule. I do expect to see them on tour later this year. I saw them in 2009 and their set was way too short - 4 songs - but still awesome.

J.Golden, I'm not sure what your point is in making such a post. It is pretty much thread farting.

Getting back to the subject, I was curious about them because of the Mean Deviation book that mentioned them. I liked the clips I heard on the internet, and I did pick up the newest one. The material doesn't seem to be as strong as the earlier stuff, but the album has grown on me over time.

?
Never mind it doesn't matter.

It just amusing watching when such bands are brought up on this board.
Well anyway... Yes HOM are a good band and once they are on the cover of the Rolling Stones or Glenn deems them good enough then we might get to see them on Progpower. It certainly would be something different. I myself would love to see them live.

You are so clever.
Guess the internet works out for the both of us then; people like myself can be nerds or whatever, while people like you can talk s@#t about people and be pompous jackasses. To each there own I suppose.

Why are you mad? All I did was post your picture to go along with your "text."

Anywho, I agree with Longshot, I'm much more into the earlier stuff, but a solid all around band.

It's because he thinks people only like bands like this if Glenn likes them.

What's that one Metallica hit from back when I was in High School???

Oh yea!!! SAD BUT TRUE!!! :heh:

All kidding aside, HOM are one of the MANY bands many of us have been talking about for years but would never been given any consideration until they got signed to METAL BLADE, making them socially acceptable.

Though still cool that them signing has given them more exposure.

The reason for the eye-roll though is they have been brought up MANY times on here with very little response from most.

If MANILLA ROAD got signed to METAL BLADE or NUC BLAST (Which they won't due to their non-touring status), you would see VERY similar posts to this one.....

I guess I'm new here, but I wouldn't think a bunch of metal fans would like certain things because they're "socially acceptable"... XD
