Manowar are so damn amazing live. I've seen them 3 times if my mind serves me right. Once the police came to the show in Switzerland, because they were too loud. I would have liked to see them arrest Joey, I'm sure the Manowar fans would have attacked the place where he was being held and gotten him out of there. so those are apolitic skinheads then. i heard that in the states their are practically no SHARPs in the western coast after a bunch of nazi ones killed 3 redskins and took over, whereas in the east coast, the reds are more powerful and the nazi skins have to hide and be really underground. do you know about that?
i always watch documentaries about skins with great interrest. its pretty fascinating. goes to show there are underground "societies" most people know nothing about. kind of like extreem metal. the average guy knows nothing about it and our mentality and shit. i actually had to explain to some friends that a skinhead isnt always nazi and that the nazi ones are actually a minority.
also Feraliminal i was wondering if you can help me about something i thought about. there's this punk band called The Exploited (i'm sure you know about them cause the name is very familiar to me, but they might be french, i dont really know, in that case you might not know them) and apparently they have a song called "oï". i was wondering if skinheads would critisize them for taking their "oï" although they are a punk band. cause we have that kind of shit in metal (like for wanabee black metal bands who are critisised cause they aren't "true"), so i kinda let my imagination flow and imagined that could happen in other "underground" groups of people.
