Happy Father's Day

Thank You EC !!!.

And i tip my hat to all the moms and dad's that pull double duty as mom and dad or special someone for the all the little people out there without a parent.

:)

I wanted to get my pops an ice cream cake from DQ, but they were sold out. I'll never learn that age old lesson about not leaving things till the last minute. Damn, cause ice cream cakes kick ass!:notworthy Oh well, at least I got a gift and card on time!

Ahh i felt good enough today to get out and about, i picked an old fashioned pedal car fire engine for the baby when he's older courtesy of Freecycle.com.

I had my uncle come over and we laugh our asses off between my cooking and the kids and my wife and had a good time. I fixed up his pc in the process of cooking the steaks and dawgs, and then we went out to this all natural dairy farm for some fantastic ice cream. Waffle explosion was vanilla with maple syrup and bits of eggo waffle in it....mmm good.

now typing this and wrapping up for the night. today was a good day.

strik, thats funny that ice cream place had 3 out of the typical 15 flavors, know what ya mean about last minute....LOL.

Ha that's a funny coincidence. In Toronto it was also ultra humid today which probably didn't help my chances of scoring a cake. Sounds like you had a nice day man! Awesome! That ice cream place you went to sounds great! When it comes to ice cream the more natural it is the better! Vanilla ice cream on a freshly toasted waffle is one of the best food ideas ever! Never had it with maple syrup though. Sounds awesome!

Ian, I'm glad I ain't the only one here with last minuteitis! I told my girlfriend that if she tells me what she wants at the last minute be it a gift or the garbage taken out, then I'm not really leaving it till the last minute am I? It's getting it asap if ya think about it. Ya she didn't buy it. Typical.:bah:

Fatherhood is a great thing. I 've been there before. To be a a good and discerning father is a blessing. To all the fathers out there that take care of their children and protect them let me say I respect you and may you have a an absolutley great and proud day. You deserve it. :notworthy

I agree with everything you said here.:kickass: I have nothing but respect for parents that take responsibity in raising their kids. Imo it's vital that children learn to be responsible for their own actions, and being responsible as a parent I think helps to instill that. Sorry for veering a bit off topic there.

Hope everyone had a good one. I played golf on Saturday, went to brunch mijo and the old man yesterday and mijo gave me three pens that look like golf clubs and some sleaves for my baseball cards.
