Street party was bloody cancelled (after I got there) *grumble grumble* Just as well I had somewhere to stay or I'd have been screwed. I wanted to see the fireworks...

there were fireworks everywhere. All you had to do was look around and you would have seen loads!

errr, no. The reason the party was called off was because of the strong winds. the big fancy fireworks at Edinburgh were called off, along with the party. There weren't really fireworks anywhere near where we were, but even if there was, it wasn't the big ones I had been looking forward to
