Hard Rock With Balls!

I have to recommend a really good new release that I have been listening to for the last week or so. The band is called Damned Nation and their new album is "Sign Of Madness". This disc has some real excellent moments of high quality Hard Rock with a load of heavy, chunky guitar riffs and some great harmony lines. The sound is mildly modern with a mixture of some late 80's Rock, although overall it is pretty distinctive sounding to me.

I was really surprised as to how good this album is, and I'm really liking it. Some really good choruses, as well as the mandatory solos! Your head should no doubt be bobbing along with a lot of the riffs/tempos of this music.

That may be up my alley. I listen to almost nil as far as modern hard rock bands or radio stuff, but I dig the shit out of Fuel and you pretty much described their sound. Then again to many.... Fuel sounds very stereotypical hard radio-rock, but they sound unique and inspired to me.

Bryant,

I really think that you'll dig this band. They have a slight Swedish feel to their style but are definitely not in a stereotypical Swedish Power Metal way.

Also, they are a bit heavier sounding than what I have heard from Fuel. That is not bad stuff either, IMO.

I was in a rush yesterday when I posted that and I forgot to put their website up. Theirs is:

They also have a full MP3 of the song "Wall Of Illusion" on their site and I highly recommend you take the free listen. Really good stuff!
