Edit, Latest mix: http://dl.getdropbox.com/u/2158140/Test Sandbox Rebellion.wav

Slightly different: http://dl.getdropbox.com/u/2158140/SBR song 5 mk 3.0.mp3

Couldn't get along with this mix for some reason but got a half decent mix today!

Anybody got some feedback on it for me?

Guitars are Marschall Jcm800 with a Tubescreamer on a Orange v30 cab, and a Soundcity l100 + Hm2 on a marschall cab.

Bass is Punkrockacademiefightsongs Orange + aquilar setup :)

Mvg,

JB!

Guitars sound nice as always. Think the vocals should come up a bit. I also think the drum sound a bit too compressed and I'm not really digging the bass sound.

The kick sample is too clicky, I would use one with more ambient character...
Also you could bring up the OH or room mics (or just use a little smoother low-cut on those)

But you are 100% on the right way!!!!!!!!!!!!
You totaly nailed the sound of the band I think because the song for itself and the production works hand in hand

cheers and keep up the good work

High-hat is now a bit extrem (dont know if this comes from a close miced high-hat or from the overheads)

Vocals could come up 0.5 dB because the singer has a great voice!!!

How much editing did you do on the drums (esp. the kick???)

If everything is cool and you didnt had to miner edits you could bring the low mids in the OH up so the drums get this room(ier) sound

but great work!!!

Sounds awesome man!

I heard it last week in the studio with TRIH and was really surprised, but didn't have time to give it a good listen. Now checking it out at home and all I can say is that the lead guitar on 00:34 - 00:48 are in the way of the vocals too much and could come down a bit and / or use some reverb / delay to place them further back in the mix or you could choose to leave the guitars like they are and pan the vocals wider for that part, might work too.
Another thing is the clipping of the guitars at 01:08 - 01:53 is really annoying.
