latest mix i've been working on for my band.
all tracking was done at Downtown Music Group with all their amazing mics/rooms/gear
guitars: Fender Jaguar with P90s into a Krank (sorry forget which model) through an Orange 4x12. mic'd with a 57 and a 421, blended more or less equally
bass: mexican Fender Jazz with DiMarzio's (once again i forget which ones), DI with 2 different tracks for low/high end (will post chain if people want to see it)
drums: no idea what drums they were.
snare: 57 and 421 on top, i think a 57 on bottom. also 2 slate samples mixed in
kick: 2 slate samples (kick 10 and tonedef). sadly we didn't get a kick sound we were happy with in the studio
toms: just a floor tom. not sure of the mic
we used a mic on the hihat, left cymbal, right cymbal, and the ride. ended up not using the overheads or the room mics in this mix.
