Would you recommend it now you've had time to fanny about with it?

oh yes, it's got more mids compared to a marshall 1960AV w/ V30's.
I think it sounds great anyway, it has a smoother top end.
With my 5150 works great.

Cause my amp choices are 6505 with Marshall 1960av from Razorjack or an ENGL fireball with a Harley benton cab from Germany....
