Has Batman gone "batty"?

Seems like RR has a great case for a suit against the arresting jurisdiction.
He's right, of course: a rape charge is tantamount to ruining your reputation, too many people equate being arrested with actual guilt, and he's a public figure with a reputation to ruin.

Oh my god defensive. Relax the sphincter man, not everything posted is a personal attack on you. I was speaking in general, but since you brought it up, you certainly made it pretty clear your take on the matter in your first post.

A rape charge is no different than an assault charge in that it really can come down to a "he said she said" scenerio, again, see Duke Rape Case. I sincerely hope you never serve on a jury with an attitude like the one you have, though, because you would clearly be biased from the start.

I'm just speaking up for myself. Nothing more. You need to relax!

It would be hard to to win unfortunately. The officers of the jurisdiction don't make the determination of guilt or innocence. If charges were filed then law enforcement is somewhat obligated to make the arrest. So works the system reputation or no. Many innocent people have been caught up in that net. As Ray Donovan once asked, "Where do I go to get my reputation back?"

As you say, too many people equate arrest with guilt. That sad truth is self-evident here in this thread.

Theres a statement out that says Bale has been the most cooperative and claims nothing has happened. "waiting for the movie" ya right, waiting to hear 160$ million dollars imho

Initial reports are that he only shoved them out of the way and his mom was so distraught that she went to the Police and filed a complaint. No one was hurt...

That my friends is a joke but as they say in the biz, any publicity is good publicity...

Like I said in the other thread, this movie scarred people involved.

So apparently, according to Christian Bale, he shouted at his sister and his mom because his sister was trying to fanaggle a trust fund out of him for her daughter (son?) ... his mom apparently got involved when he said no or something, and it escalated. He couldn't leave the situation because where he was was surrounded by fans and paparatzi (sp?) .... so, who do you believe? Truth probably lies somewhere in the middle.
