Hatchet tour!

Apparently their new singer made a drunken fool of himself on stage and promptly quit/got kicked out of the band. Now Julz is going to be singing and playing lead guitar. So if any of you go see them, let me know how it sounds cause I've never really heard him sing before.

Also he came to his senses and shaved off the moustache before I ever had to see it. :)

Oh what a headache to have on tour! Good Luck Julz!! Im sure he can do it!

Hey look there's another tour about to start this weekend. I'll be joining them in Seattle again, and I might even go down to the LA/San Diego shows this weekend if I can get a ride back. Here's the dates:

So go check 'em out! Witchaven's a pretty sick black/thrash band from LA too, definitely very Destroyer 666 influenced. They're opening for Kult ov Azazel for a couple of those Texas dates too. More info is on their myspace: www.myspace.com/hatchet2006

Also Hatchet'll be selling my girl shirts. Go buy one!

Yeah there is. They had some trouble booking it and it just got confirmed recently, but they made that flier a while ago. It's gonna be one at Thee Parkside on April 23rd, the weekend after that last show in Oregon, and Children of the Damned (the Iron Maiden cover band) is headlining. :kickass:

Interesting. If I remember, I'll go to the Philly date!

so the SF date is going to be at Thee Parkside? Nice, we're supposed to be playing on that with Zombie Holocaust and Thee Parkside is badass; wasn't it supposed to be at burnt ramen or something but that didn't work out? too bad the sf date is so far away, i'm really looking forward to it.

Julz was trying to book it at Gilman but that chick Cassondra's kind of a bitch and she's totally up Marcus's ass, so it didn't work out. Thee Parkside will be pretty sweet though, especially since there's a bar, and with a cover band playing that'll attract an older crowd as well as the usual thrash kids. I'm looking forward to it too! I am not, however, looking forward to my boyfriend being gone for six weeks.

Gilman is cool but Thee parkside is too, I haven't played there nearly as much either so it'll be cool to be there again, plus the outside area is sick. Hatchet isn't headlining though? I'm not a huge fan of cover bands but oh well, either way I'll definitely stick around; I wanna see Julz pull off those crazy technical riffs while singing, that'll be insane and I don't think I've seen them with anyone but Marcus so it'll be pretty different.
