There are a lot more dates on their page, http://www.myspace.com/hatchet2006

Go check them out and see that thrash is still alive in the Bay Area!!

one thing that surprises me though is hatchet keeps doing these kinda smallish headlining tours, i'd think they'd do like century media did and get them as a support act on a ton of big world and national tours to get the name out, people would be more likely to go see hatchet and overkill than hatchet and witchaven.

yeah from what i've seen i don't like metalblade that much, i don't see them promoting as much or really doing much for the bands like fbf and hatchet, they just kinda latch on and suck up money even though they have done some stuff for fbf. that sucks that marcus has to do all that, thats hella work and if they could find some way to get on a big national tour that'd really help them like it has for warbringer.

this band is terrible.

I was listening to Realm, Toxik, Mekong Delta, Dark Angel and Heathen all weekend, which further reinforced my opinion that all these new retro thrash bands are fucking awful.

Yeah, yeah... everyone assumes that all new thrash bands are terrible without actually listening to them.

:err:

Edit: lol nevermind, I thought he meant he was listening to the new thrash bands

those are all old thrash bands, swabs.

I don't say anything sucks before listening to it.

I check out all those new thrash comps that come out, 90 percent of it is forgettable drivel.

I checked out Hatchet's myspace a couple and listened to all the songs, shit is wretched.

I do enjoy Municipal Waste though.

also, not because they are my friends, but because they play really catchy thrash that leans more towards melodic american power metal, Space Eater.

check them out.

You really have to see them live to fully appreciate it. I don't know how well they're going to do elsewhere, but the pits for Hatchet shows here are insane. And thanks for the assumption that I only listen to them because they're my friends.

Edit: lol nevermind, I thought he meant he was listening to the new thrash bands

Have you seriously never heard of Dark Angel or Heathen?

Yeah yeah, for some reaon I totally "glance read" his post, nevermind.
