If it were up to Uranium, wed play metal 24/7 on all the radio stations, write about metal in every magazine, show metal bands on every tv station, and feature them in every movie that is released. But alas, we dont control the world. So, why is it tough as s**t to get metal out there into the mainstream press? Probably because people who dont understand it, tend to be very afraid of it. And maybe they should be! But, thats not a good enough reason to ignore it. On Friday, January 20th, check out Uranium: Bands Who Deserve Press as it premieres at 9pm EST. We wanted to include every metal band that we know about in this show cause everyone deserves their shot at press, but were only on for a half hour so, we sat down with legendary bands like Cannibal Corpse and Obituary plus newer bands like Since the Flood and A Life Once Lost and looked into why metal is shunned by the media masses.
