Hate Etrernal is excellent; very brutal, ultra technical, and non-stop speed. I can see how some people can only listen to them in small doses, but I can listen to their albums back to back. Sadly, "I, Monarch" isn't as good as the previous two. Rumors have it that Rutan is back with Morbid Angel, which has it's pluses, but Hate Eternal will probably dissolve, which is a shame. I could be wrong, however, which I hope I am.
I grew up around Roddy and used to jam with him. My guess is that now he has his head so far up his wife's ass that you can't even see his feet, since she is the reason for him quitting playing in extreme metal acts. There is plenty of music that is a lot faster technical brutal and relentless than hate eternal. Death metal bands are never the most fast,etc... regardless if that's what they are striving for so really what's the point in listening to them if that's their musical goal. If I feel like listening to 'very brutal, ultra technical, and non-stop speed' why settle for 30 minutes of hate eternal when a lot of bands surpase them in that intent that could be listened too.
