jsut wanted to see what others opinions on the new bodom cd were, i think its megasick, and is defnitly worth picking up, i think this cd is more geared around there style from something wild and hatebreeder, less keyboard and way more of alexi than there were on follow the reaper......definitly worth picking up now that you can get it in US

yeah HCDR is excellent, not as good as Hatebreeder but definitely a great cd

He's talking about Hate Crew Deathroll.. For me ti's the best album they ever did.. Finally added something to their sound. A track like "Angels don't kill" never could have been on another album..

It's their Heaviest album to date, it's like a SLayer/Bodom combination which gives the album it's heaviness.

i hear many good things about bodom, ive never really sat down and listen to them though. the few songs i did download sounded decent, but the keyboards annoyed me somewhat.

so i take it hatebreeder and Hate Crew Deathroll are their best albums?

ill check em out when they come around w/ dimmu and nevermore.

Why is that, Anneke? I only own this CD and that's my favorite song by far -- would I like their previous CDs if I like this and HCD overall?

They all rock. I got into them through Hatebreeder, but that album quickly moved to the back seat as I discovered the other albums. Something Wild is SO killer...very awesome.. Follow the Reaper and HCDR are top notch. Not a bad album in the lot. 4 good albums! Great albums!

Yeah, the 4 of them are good but I get tired of CoB pretty fast... I think this band is 10 times better on stage than in my cd player....

I like COB but Kalmah is a little better IMO. Both have similar sounds (melodic death metal from Finland) but Kalmah seem to be a little more creative. Check out the album "Swampsong" by Kalmah is you like COB's sound. Kalmah's guitarist is also a HUGE Dave Mustaine fan and you can hear it refelcted in the music.
