Have radeon 5850, 3 lcd's, but eyefinity does not work, what the deuce?

Decided to get 2 others LCD displays for my eyefinity, watched a few you tube videos on how to do it, but their catalyst software looks 100% different then mine so all of their tutorials are pretty much worthless.

Help = very much appreciated.

You did make sure to actually grab the extra hardware that you need other than the extra lcd screens, right?

A lot of people completely forget about simple hardware problems. Hell, is the third lcd even registering in the device manager?
