Headphone Recommendations

Im after a new pair of headphones for mixing and playing my e drumkit through.

Im looking at a budget of around £50, anybody know a decent pair I can pick up for this kinda thing?

Has to be able to take some DB! hehe

At that price point you are looking at the Sennheiser HD25.

I meant HD215, sorry. I don't actually like the HD25's, I prefer DT770's when you get to that price range.

Actually! Ive just found 1 place selling the HD25's for £68. Ill check out the 215's.

I have the Sony MDR V600s and they have a disturbingly unrealistic boost below 400 Hz. I don't use headphones for monitoring so I don't care but my friend's AKGs kick the crap out of them.

I'll second the Sennheiser HD215, or the 280 if that's in the range.

Sennheiser HD280 its worth the extra money.

though the sony's are great too, they got em at my school, i just prefer the comfort of the HD280s

edit: oh your talking pounds... yeah the HD280s are your best bet

I have a set of HD25s.....sound wise I think they're "just ok", but they are more comfortable than comparable others for those of us who have huge heads

I definitely agree, the HD 280 Pro's are awesome. Great sound with good noise cancellation.
