So i'm looking for a set of headphones that'll have good response to the guitar signal, when plugging them straight to a guitar amp.Budget up to 150.Well maybe a bit more if they worth it:grin:
I was checking out the AKG K-240 MKII.....but anyways.

You guys know better:)

Yeah.I got a practise SS Marshall that has a headphone out \m/:grin: and a ENGL E530 (among others).Forget the marshall,it just exists in my room:muahaha:.I need the headphones for the ENGL.

The best bang for your buck IMO is the Audio Technica ATH-M50's, I love mine! And although the general consensus is that semi-open headphones are more accurate in simulating speakers, they don't isolate nearly as well, which was a deal-breaker for me, which rules out the K 240's (although the K 171's are still an option, but I really haven't heard much about them, so my only reason for thinking they're better is they cost more...)

The headphone out from E530 is going to sound like shit no matter what :)

I've got AKG 240 studio headphones and I think they are good although haven't compared them with anything comparable. Very comfortable also.

How does the 240 MKII studio differ from regular 240 studio?
