HEAVENLY: Third Album To Surface In January

France's HEAVENLY have set "Dust To Dust" as the title for their third album, due on January 12 through Sanctuary/Noise Records.

The follow-up to 2001's "Sign Of The Winner", which is being described by the band as "more heavy metal and more symphonic" than the group's previous efforts, is currently being mixed by Sascha Paeth (ANGRA, RHAPSODY, KAMELOT).

The complete track listing for "Dust To Dust" is as follows:

Chapter I
01. Ashes To Ashes...
02. Evil
03. Lust For Life
04. Victory (Creatures Of The Night)
Chapter II
05. Illusion Part I
06. Illusion Part II (the call of the wild)
07. The Ritual
08. Keepers Of The Earth
09. Miracle
Chapter III
10. Fight For Deliverance
11. Hands Of Darkness
12. Kingdom Come
13. ...Dust To Dust

The Japanese edition of the album will include as a bonus track the song "... Dust to Dust" sung in Japanese!

WOW!!! Gotta get the Japanese version then... luckily I have my contact there.
But anyway, great news. January is coming faster than I might even think about! :)

Hi everybody!
The third album "Dust to dust" is now finished ! It will be released on January 12th through Noise/Sanctuary Records. The promo will begin in november, so watch out for reviews and interviews pretty soon in your favorite magazine/webzine/radio station etc.
The record company started a "Ask Fred" campaign : you can ask questions to Fred (obviously !), with a chance to win a CD !
More news soon on the Heavenly FC's website. Check it out

Cheers

Hi metal heads,

I'll meet Heavenly next week for the promo of their new album.... If anyone got some questions for them ( only Max & Fred will do the interviews ) please send them @ heavenlyfc@aol.com before WEDNESDAY 12th ( and if I could do the interview and if I can't, an other member of the band will do it ), you'll see your questions posted on the Heavenly FC' website.

Regards!!!

Lionel

MEDIA QUOTES - HEAVENLY - DUST TO DUST
All in all a very varied album that still shows the young band's influences
but is more independent than their previous CDs. An album that will enrich
any melodic metal fan's collection.

Andreas Schöwe / Hammer (6/7)

--------------------------

More than 70 minutes of new material that isn't only more varied but also a
lot more complex than the songs on Heavenly's previous albums. Lust For
Life, Keepers Of The Earth, the two Illusion parts or the newly recorded
nine-minute version of the early Miracle are produced phenomenally and
whoever doesn't bow to these songs insults the entire metal genre.

Matthias Igel / Metal Heart (8/10)

-------------------------------

A great step foward for the French power metal band. They have developed
remarkably and present an album that is packed with great melodies and
produced extremely well.

Frank Albrecht / Rock Hard

Well I've checked out the album and it's certainly the strongest Heavenly album to date and I'm looking forward to the official release. IMHO the finest track by far is Lust For Life and I would buy the album on the strength of this track alone. This is dramatic power metal classic. Shame they stole the name from Gamma Ray ;)
