Heavens Gate and Rival

I can't understand why Heavens Gate was not more popular. I think everything they've done is AMAZING! Anyone feel the same? Poor Sascha Paeth, it must be weird, yet financially nice, to make ALOT more cash as a producer than he ever did in that band! And has anyone checked out the Chicago based band Rival? They have a new disc on Metal Blade called "State Of Mind" that is just BRUTAL. Reminds me of Cyclone Temple!

I agree 100%!!! Heavens Gate is a great band!! I have alot of their stuff and still listen to it often. As a matter of fact--they were one of the first bands I was into when I started to discover the world of buying imports and the whole European metal scene back in the early 90's. Great band!!

I also picked up (just yesterday) the Rival. I dig it so far-- I listened to it in the car--I need to give it another spin with a six-pack by my side and the volume rather high in my house!
