The type of heavy metal I'm referring to Priest's Painkiller, Halford's Resurrection, Primal Fear's latest 'Rulebreaker', Beyond Fear's self titled, and I recently came across Snakeyes' Ultimate Sin. I love that screaming heavy metal with the darker edge. Most of Primal Fear's earlier work is just too close to power metal with those choruses. Anyone have any recommendations? Thanks.
