I'm regualrly reading tips and threads on here for guidance on my metal mixing, im not going to bore you with tid bits but looking for some feedback on recent mixes/projects/when i actually try to finish a song session.
(im using basic gear - pod hd500, fake bass (guitar eq'd etc) and metal foundry
I know i struggle with the low end as i dont have a bass, so i try to compensate with the kick and toms and tinker with my 'fake bass/clean guitar' track.
These are by no means finished, just stuff i mix along the way to try and get in a bloody band
