Did you produce this? Nice job dude... definitely similar to that Woe Is Me/chango studios sound. I'm guessing you were going for that?

Yes I did produce it, thanks. Honestly from what I've heard of Chango I didn't like it at all lol... so I was not going for that at all-- though I guess I can see maybe some sort of resemblance between the styles of music

That's what I mean, those sort of bands.... the loud synths etc etc.

Gotcha, still can't honestly say I was aiming right for that specifically when doing the mix or producing, kinda just went with the flow with what the band brought in... they are talented guys and only around an average of about 17 years old.

Thanks, yep they are slate, honestly I can't remember exactly but probably Kick 10 and the fat toms, can't remember the snare/it might be a blend of a few
