I've completed my Federal tax return, wooooooo! Can't telefile my state return until the 13th tho.

btw, my wife had three jobs this past year. and all of them were the kind where they dont take out any taxes at all. should be fun figuring that out. last year i just made a bunch of shit up.

i havent had to do anything more than federal for 5 years now here in TN

actually the govt has come a long way in 15 years. The biggest hindrances to progress has been getting various agencies' legacy programs to talk to each other. last year the IRS finally noticed that my wife had never done a change of name thing when we got married, so they were finally linked up to the Social Security Administration.

heheh my friend works in the covington, ky office of the IRS. he has some good stories about government efficiency
