Hello all , my name is Oren ,
long time reader , first time poster... howdy :)

First of all let me say this - there is a lot of talent in this forum!
Kudos to all of you,you do excellent work!!!

Now regarding my questions :)

I own a Schecter C7 Blackjack , and I have two issues that I'd like to advise about:

1. I usually play 0.11's , and I don't really know what would be the best gauge for the low B string, any suggestion?

2. I run my Blackjack through a PodXT (basic, not live) , and I can't seem to get the clarity I desire from it... either direct , through a combo/power amp...
Any advice?

I appreciate any and every word you guys have to help!!!

Thanks in advance, and wishing a great weekend to everyone,
Oren

MANDATORY .070 for the low B. I use the Zakk Wylde lo tune set which is 11-70 and then I buy a .024 for the D string so you end up with

11 14 18 24 36 52 70

Its absolutely perfect. I use a fixed bridge Nez 7 and tune it Bb standard / current Loomis.

As for Pod, try not to go past noon on the gain, use plenty of mids, and use either the ts, rat, or boost to help tighten. The post EQ also helps.
