one of the first webpages i ever made, back in like 1995, was really crude/basic html. essentially just some links and images.

and my first attempt at a linked image was that hello cthulhu, linking to that page.

good call! my avatar is FSc, i like her a lot. she's so creative, despite the fact that she doesn't push herself much as an artist in terms of technique. and i don't think she's ever had really a talented writer to draw for, so hopefully that will happen someday.

FSc and yoshitaka amano have secretly been two of my favorite (illustration?) artists since my super anime days.

this reminds me: once i started some email conversation with her and it eventualy got to the topic of music, since she seemed to have similar taste, and i mentioned maudlin of the well, but i don't think she ever found it since mp3.com was kaputz.

that's cool that you managed to talk to her online, i thought she seemed to be too much of a hermit (she won't even get her picture taken, i think). she does have good taste in music, as her website suggests at least, and i think she'd like maudlin too.

yoshitaka amano is also one of my very favorites (for the same reason as you as i imagine; old final fantasy nerds). i also really excessively like maki kusumoto and sho-u tajima.
