This is gonna be mine and my bro's first year attending progpower. I just wanted to know, are we allowed to take our cell phones in? and now that im at it, what items are allowed/not allowed? thank you so much!

No digital cameras are allowed, although you may bring traditional disposable cameras or non-digital 35mm cams. Phones are indeed allowed. No video equipment is allowed. You may come and go as you please on Friday and Saturday. See ya there!

I know we were allowed small shoulder bags in last year, but I think backpacks were not allowed. (Someone else can feel free to clarify that if I'm mistaken.)

Yep. Basically, still cameras using film are okay for all. Only sponsors and accredited media can bring in digital cameras of any kind.
