This seemed like a cool laid back forum for discovering new music and conversing with those of similar taste to myself.
I'm from Australia, still in high school and only found my interest in Metal about a year ago now and have quickly fallen in love with many bands from a broad range of sub-genres. I hope to explore the frontiers of some of the more extreme sub-genres of which my knowledge is quite limited, the focus being Death and Black Metal, as well as their offshoots.
I already have a decent grasp and fondness for Traditional, Thrash, Doom, Stoner, and Power Metal, although I would love to expand my collection for all stated.
I tend to avoid anything Punk-related.
