Okay, I think I should start by stating that I haven't joined any of the million different forums that I would read posts on (Googling about), until now.
Honestly, I not entirely sure why I signed up.
I have a very complicated view on metal..
In general, I'm not entirely sold on the concept of everything being screamed, yet at the same time, I'm not really into most metal bands I've heard that have vocalists, typically because I'm generally less interested by most bands that you hear the 1980s in their vocals and/or guitarists.
That being said, I've found myself really getting into Gorod lately. In addition to Gorod, I listen to Nevermore, and a few alternative metal bands, as well as a few nu metal bands, though not really all that much anymore, with the nu metal.
Oh yes, by the way, I'm a multi-instrumentalist, soon to be guitarist and vocalist for an indie rock band, and probably not long after that, I'll be starting a metal band.
