Nevermore, i thnk they are power metal. I love the vocalist and the guitar riffs are so low because of the 7 string guitar. It really kicks ass. I reccommend Dreaming Neon Black or Dead Heart in a Dead World.

I dunno about that..I'd call it Groove-thrash, or something..with a few doses of American power influence. There are better bands in that type of thing though IMO, but just the same, maybe he would dig them..

I would have also mentioned Crimson Glory and Fifth Angel but they aren't straight power either.

also I'd recommend the Sanctuary albums way before any Nevermore CD.

Yea, but nevermore is pretty heavy, but i didnt know if they were on the line or not. Hey, he might like it though, they are a really good band.
