... interesting music! I want to download something new, something I have never heard before! so I would really like you to tell me the name of the band and a song for mw to download! thank you very much and happy surfing!

try those songs:

Ulver - Kledt I Nattens Farger, Een Stemme Locker
Cynic - Veil of Maya, How Could I
Orphaned Land - Like Fire to Water, Sahara Storm
God dethroned - The Execution Protocol
King Crimson - Red, Vrooom
Neurosis - Through Silver In Blood, Under The Surface
Rotting Christ - Cold Colours

they all are unique and great, download them all!

I highly suggest Nightingale......it's the band i'm become obsessed about this last few days....
maybe you'll find them cheesy (???) since they are not really ultra heavy or highly satanic ( what kind of afternoon crap i'm writing!!!!!!)
I highly recommend:
Steal the moon
Deep inside of nowhere
So long (still i wonder)
Alive again

all by nightingale from "the closing chronicles album"

If you want something non-metal and strangely depressive download something from Diorama,f.e. "you and ice" or "advance"

I could list a ton of music, but since I run the risk of listing bands you know, I must ask:

What haven't you heard before?

Anything by Wesley Willis. He is a crazy homeless guy from Chicago. I have one CD of his and the music on all 30 or so tracks is exactly the same, but with varied vocals. It is really hilarious stuff....

Eternal Tears of Sorrow-Prophetian (amazing melodic powerful death metal, majestic beautiful!)
Pale Forest-Mr Trenchcoat (fanatastic female voice, great song construction)
Novembre-Venezia Dismal, OR, Child of the Twilight (my recent obsession, similar to Opeth in song structure at times, but there is an element of shoegazer type wall of sound that I LOVE!!)

Wesley Willis Rocks!!!

I saw him perform a few years ago as The Wesley Willis Fiasco...basically Wesley's a schizophenic fat black guy...his backing band (The Fiasco) was a bunch of skinhead looking white guys...As far as I know, Wesley Willis has only recorded one album as The Wesley Willis Fiasco (it's actually metal)...the rest of his many many many albums are just him and a keyboard...playing the same thing, with different lyrics or at a different speed...

Check out The Wesley Willis Fiasco though...
