Help me improve the vocals. plz<3

There's no bass on it yet, so don't nag me bout that lol.

I am trying to get my vocals to sit in the mix better and just sound natural, like its supposed to be part of the song. They just stick out a little bit and no matter what I adjust, it just dosen't sound right lol.

Can anybody help me out with this?

I don't think the vocals are the problem, though they could be a bit clearer. Your guitar sound is scooped (read: thin), which is the problem, and that will only be fixed when you add bass and fiddle with that a bit. Sorry bro

sounds like the vocalist is cupping the mic, which is a no-go. but i agree with xnaysaturo, guitars sound like they can have more balls, but see how it sounds after a bass track is added. digging the music though, sounds like a non progressive within the ruins.
