Help me out with snare

Hey just looking to get some crits on this snare sound, it's a combo of various snares, I'm terrible at trying to make them sound good but listening to a Fear Factory album today I noticed that their snare sound is actually not that great so confusion about snares ensues.

Sounds pretty cool for the genre to me. If anything, it sounds just a little too loud, but I'm on my cans currently.
