Caution: This is not metal but I need help with a vocal chain
I'm new to singing and really new to mixing vocals and fuck new to mixing as well. Still struggling to find a vocal chain. Right now I'm using a at4033 into a borrowed distressor into a great river preamp. Can someone take a listen to these two quick clips and tell me if If the vocals are sounded ok. I feel like they are distorted. Suggestions please!! (Are both mixes pumping or just the 1st one? - still have trouble hearing that)(These are both shitty mixes and both are sloppy in timing and playing...so sorry ahead of time)
