so tour is over. 3 weeks early. last night, while driving through rural new mexico, something darted in front of our car, and we lost control. at 70 m.p.h., our truck flipped over and we rolled off the highway into a ditch. the trailer full of our merch and equipment was ripped from the truck and flung a good 20 feet. unbelievably, we're safe and unharmed. but our trailer and truck are beyond obliterated, and we're stuck in new mexico, hundreds of miles from any sizeable city.
it pains us incredibly to have to cancel this tour halfway through; we've been planning this beast for over a year, and it's been quite exciting going to all of these new cities and playing our jams for people. thanks for all of the kind emails and messages...it's good to have support at a time like this. fear not...we won't let something like this stop genghis tron.

hey everybody...we just wanted to spread the word that, with the wonderful help of our webmaster rohan, we've now got a fully functional paypal-driven online store on our website. just go to http://www.genghistron.com/ and click on "merch" to take a look at the wonderful t-shirts we've put up for sale. there are twelve designs in all, each in varying sizes. all of the smalls and extra smalls (from the first printing) are on super high-quality american apparel t-shirts.
as many of you know, we recently survived a horrible car accident in the middle of our summer tour and had to cancel over three weeks of shows. we were lucky to walk away with our lives, but that doesn't change the fact that we are currently without a car, trailer, and much equipment, so if you feel like helping out, please make a purchase to help us get back on our feet.
you can also make donations if you feel so inclined! there is a paypal donations button up on the website. every single little bit helps, so we appreciate whatever anyone can do...it's gonna take a lot of work for us to become a fully functional touring unit once again.
we don't have the t-shirts with us yet...they are currently being shipped from the crash site in new mexico to our labratory/headquarters in NY, so it may be the middle of august before the shirts get put in the mail. but go ahead and place your orders! several of the designs are very limited and won't be reprinted after this run expires.
thanks once again for all of the supportive e-mails and messages we've recieved since the accident. we're hard at work to get things back to normal, and we happen to be writing lots of new material in the meantime. we've got some stuff up our sleeves for the end of 2005...get excited about it.
