Help out my band's bassist... (Poweramp + Sansamp + Cab = Doable?)

Hey guys, my bassist has a sansamp that he wants to use for gigging so he's looking at getting a poweramp so he can use his cab (I believe this is possible, right?)
What poweramp would you all recommend for about $500?

By the way, he is looking at getting 2 Avatar 4x10 B410 NEO cabs too that are 1000 watts each, so it will need to be able to power 'em.

That would work bigtime. An old used QSC or Crown would be cool. I've used the cheaper newer QSC's and Carvins with no problems and he could probably get a 1000w one of those for under 500.

Yup im so impressed with my Sansamp BDI Deluxe live that im considering doing the same, just as soon as i can find someone to buy my ampeg head.

I was going to get a lightweight class D Power amp, monster power super efficient and light as a feather.

yep I know several dudes that do this. sounds great. QSC power amps are a good choice
