Attempting to use logic's built in drum replacer, but it won't let me use my own samples, I've created an exs24 instrument with the samples but they won't trigger.......

any help?

When using the drum replacement make sure you tell logic it is a kick or a snare or whatever so midi is on correct note.
Once you adjust sensitivity and convert to midi, open the midi editor and use the line tool to draw a straight line across the velocities at about 100.
Velocities are all over the place with the logic drum replacement.
Open a default EXS24 sampler and go into edit mode.
Drag you kick sample onto the edit window then select it to be one shot and not follow pitch.
Make sure you put the sample on the C1 key (for kick) or D1 (for snare)
Should work.
If it doesn't post back and I will try to help more.

Happy to help;)
To make less computerised>
Open midi editor and select all.
Transform>Humanize and alter velocity by 10
Makes a big difference.

You sir are a god,, just so you know i'm doing all this on that multi you uploaded yesterday too :p
Found the snare WAY too ringy for my liking

I am a certified trainer for Logic so hit me up if you need any help with it.
The snare in that session is a bit ringy but has nice snap.
Try a beefy sample under it and it sounds great.
