We're probably going to New York in a couple of weeks.
My niece's boyfriend has to go there for his work. They get a big appartment there and they offered us to join them.

Any hints on what to do/what to see/ what to watch out for?
Do's and dont's (we wold like to get back alive!)?

Any concerts in the area that might interest us?

Sights in the area where we can easily get to?

Any New Yorkers on this board?

How could we get a guitar out of the US without having to pay taxes?
