Having only heard of this band literally 5 minutes before hearing their demo, I really had no idea what to expect. Which in a way is good, it means I had no preconcieved ideas about this band, which can sometimes cloud the judgement.
The demo sticks together excellently, and flows, which I feel is important from a doom release. It leaves a feeling of My Dying Bride in the back of my head, why I am not quite sure, the vocals are far rougher and harsher than MDB, but there is just something about it.
The first track "Revenant" gets you hooked, and each track thereafter reinforces the fact that Herem are here, and they are here to stay.
Can't wait to hear more from this band.
