those people to the right resemble flesh/blood versions of a background crowd that mort drucker would have rendered in the old days of MAD magazine. i guess you'd kind of have to see what i mean by that, but it's kind of funny in context.

i got backstage passes to a metallica show at the providence civic center and when james came into the meet and greet room he was waving a videocamera. turns out mtv was doing a documentary on metallica and gave them the cameras to document their lives.

so like three months later i heard about it and when i saw the special they included footage from the providence civic center and had the footage of james coming into the meet and greet area and for like 3 seconds you see me.
